I am sorry

For not posting for so long.It's been one thing after another going wrong.I went for some muslin and thought I'd try a different weight.Got home put it in my tea/coffee bath it was awful.It was so stiff I had a hard time wring it out.I thought maybe after it dried it would be ok.So I sewed up a couple heads still did'nt like it.It pucker at each seam stuffing did'nt help it either.So off I went and bought more of what I had before.
Thought I'd practice some eyes well that did'nt go so good either.One set was bigger then I wanted so I did another head and set of eyes well they turned out smaller then what I was wanting.So now I have two more heads ready and going to try it again.
You know how it is when you get something in your head of what you want.I have this dolly in my head and she's being very picky.I am working on her nose now then the eyes so when I get them finished I'll post a pic and some others I have taken and you can see what I am talking about.I'll have some pic this evening or in the morning.

New addition to our family

After we lost our furbaby(Sassy) in April I did'nt want to get any more.She was with us for 11 years she was way more then a dog.I have had dogs all my life and it was painful when they passed but with her it was so much more.She was my shadow...................

My granddaughter and her boyfriend broke up.They had made a lot of plans and looked like they would be getting married after college but it did'nt work out.So she gets the idea of getting a puppy.She goes to the pet shop and buys this little fellow for $850. and all the extras bowls,toys,brushes,collar and leash,special food ,shampoo a cage and more.After a couple weeks she realized it was a mistake.She goes to college has full time job and a busy social life.One evening she asked if we would doggie sit.Well needless to say we were hooked and when she came in and asked us if we would keep him of course we said yes.He is such a baby and playful.He's very smart after only 2 days he was going to the door to go outside and do his business.

Now who could turn this down ???? LOL I know my granddaugther misses him but she knew he would be well taken care of with us.His name is Tyson like the boxer that liked to bite ears .Hopfully he'll grow out of that lol.

Here's pic of finished hat.I glued lace around the brim.Tied a ribbon around the dome or whatever it's called lol and made a bow in the back with some ribbon hanging down.Also added some daisys...It looks pretty good.
